It's this time of year in Edinburgh! Yes, the Fringe 2015 is coming and it is especially exciting because Marta will be directing two productions for Asylon Theatre. The first is a beautiful and moving dance theatre piece for children 8+ titled Fraxi Queen of the Forest that will premiere at the Botanic Garden in Edinburgh and the other one a thought-provoking solo piece for adult audience titled Touch which will premiere at New Ton Theatre run by Universal Arts.
Splendid creative teams and loads of ideas! More details soon!
Marta has been recently awarded funding from Creative Scotland to attend Atelier for Young Festival Managers in Beirut organised by European Festival Association.

Following a successful and collaborative development process supported by Creative Scotland, Marta is currently working on the full production for young audiences Fraxi Queen of the Forest that will premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015 at the Royal Botanic Garden.

After an adventure in Bali, short stopover in Malesia and New Zealand, Marta is enjoying her time in Poland before coming back to wonderful Scotland in autumn.
Marta has just opened We Are Art Bali Artistic and Cultural Education Centre. To begin with, the centre offers drama and dance courses for people of all ages in three locations in Bali: Ubud, Sanur and Seminyak. How very exciting!
With Asylon Theatre, Marta is developing an exciting project that will involve participation of four directors and four playwrights to create new plays inspired by the local heritage culminating in theatre performances in September 2011.
Marta has just finished working as a production assistant for Edinburgh Mela Festival. The Mela represents an exciting celebration of Edinburgh's diverse communities, their heritage and culture, developing strong and evolving contemporary Scottish identity. This year's festival was an indisputable success and a fantastic experience. I shall be back for next year.
And in September 2010 Marta is moving to Indonesia for a 10 month long adventure to experience Indonesian arts, study masks and puppetry, focus on writing and finding harmony. You can follow her adventures here.
